Why Scarabaeidae?

Scarabs are probably the most diverse group of Coleoptera, the order with more species on earth. You can find scarabs almost everywhere in the world, but surely, the higher biodiversity can be found in the tropics. We opened the FISS service in order to make a catalog of the Scarab colletions of the world and show the world its amazing variety. |
How can I be a part of the F.I.S.S. service ?

If you have a biological collection having scarabaeidae on it, you can register your colletion and your specimens. We will give you access to your own "online database", and you will be in contact with scarabaeidae taxonomists worldwide.
Our members share their knowledge and make an important effort to contribute to the knowledge of this amazing group. Currently, we are working with many groups around the world working on genus like Golopha, Dynastes and Megasoma.
